Comfort Diva was founded by Lisa Sheppard, a marketing executive, wine enthusiast, and proud cat mom who believes that joy can often be found in the smallest moments.
The inspiration for Comfort Diva came during one of the most challenging seasons of Lisa's life. After losing her mother, she became the primary caregiver for her father as he battled Alzheimer's disease. Like many caregivers, she quickly learned that caring for someone you love can be rewarding, heartbreaking, exhausting, and isolating—all at the same time.
Throughout that journey, two constant companions helped brighten even the hardest days: her cats, Lulu and Latte.
Whether they were chasing imaginary prey across the living room, demanding attention during an important Zoom call, or curling up beside her after a difficult day, they had an uncanny ability to create moments of laughter and comfort when she needed them most. Those small moments didn't solve every problem, but they often provided exactly what was needed—a smile, a laugh, a deep breath, or a reminder that joy still existed.
That experience became the foundation for Comfort Diva.
Today, Comfort Diva creates whimsical gifts, home décor, entertaining accessories, apparel, and everyday treasures designed to bring a little more happiness into people's lives.
